“Cargo Ship Costas”
We met Costas in a nautical themed shop in the Naxos old town. He asked us where we were from.
“Sydney?” He asked confidently
“Perth”, we replied in unison
“Geraldton?” He returned in rhythm
“Yes!”
“Ah, I used to work in cargo ship in Geraldton.”
What a small world.

Yes, I remember most of the Greek crews that visited Geraldton on cargo ships. I think there were about 350, each with about 35 crew.
He had a Roman nose, dark hair and his name was Costas
