Heading up to the Cassowary Coast – to Mission Beach (🎵far away in time). That’s Dunk Island in the background – I feel like I’ve won a holiday weekend on Perfect Match… Greg Evens and Dexter have chosen a person to go on the holiday with me based on our compatibility score and the answers to 3 random questions…. what could go wrong?
These two lovebirds would definitely been able to go back the Perfect Match set and claim that they had a great time, liked each other and had planned to see each other again. Vary rare.
On the road into South Mission Beach is where the small population of Cassowaries live and we were very lucky to see one on the side of the road… cause we never saw another one the whole time we were there.
Speaking of being lucky to see an animal – I keep forgetting to mention it, but when Felicity was with me in NSW… we saw the elusive black panther. We had pulled over on the highway to fix something and Fliss noticed something on the other side of the road. She said, “Is that a cow on the road? Wait, is that a dog? A Great Dane? That’s a cat. Oh My Goodness, that’s the Lithgow Panther!” We both saw it. You can’t tell us otherwise.
And…. back to South Mission Beach. This was our set up in a lovely little park right on the beach.

The mountains in the distance… always pretty at this time of night.
The sand has flecks of gold through it and then it has its own stairway to the moon. What’s not to love about South Mission Beach?
