I’ve always wanted to drive, see a sign and take the turn, but generally you’re on your way somewhere to be there by a certain time and think that you’ll “do it next time”. I’m so glad that Deb is the type of person who when I say “Shall we have look?” she says “Absolutely!”
Today’s adventure took us to Clem Walton Park – a free camp ground on a massive lake.

Honestly – she’s ready for anything!

Then just up the road, with a very small sign marked “Private Property” was the access road to Fountain Springs…

There was a little circle road off the road we’d turned down that took us to Rosebud Dam. There were 2 people camping there amongst the cattle. Then we continued on for about 20kms to one of the most amazing waterholes I’ve ever seen – and I haven’t seen many.

So beautiful. A little chilly and midgy-ee to swim.
